Registration Conditions

  1. Registration only happens after the receipt of the completed and signed registration form. Through registering you agree with the registration conditions. The registration form of an under-age student needs to be signed by a parent or guardian.
  2. Students will be registered in the order their registration forms are received. If the number of students exceeds 10, we will contact you and you can be placed in a different group or on a waiting list.
  3. Students commit themselves to the course for the duration (one or more sets of ten lessons). If you want to continue with your studies in the new school year, you will have to register again.
  4. A trial lesson counts as the first lesson of the current cycle should you decide to join the course.
  5. Group lessons can only be offered if there is a minimum number of four students. Fewer than four students can share the cost for a private lesson. Should a course have to be cancelled, we will inform you at least three working days in advance. You will not be charged. Alingua is not liable for damages incurred by students in any form.
  6. You can cancel your registration at no cost up to two weeks before the beginning of classes. Cancellations are accepted in written form (email) only. Failure to cancel in time results in full fees being charged.
  7. Class lessons missed by the student will not be rescheduled. Private lessons need to be cancelled 24 hours before the beginning of the lesson. Failure to do so results in the student being charged for the lesson in question.
  8. For lessons at locations other than the European School, travel costs will be charged.
  9. Course fees are due ten (10) working days before courses start.
  10. Ordered and/or purchased material cannot be returned.
  11. Barring circumstances beyond ALINGUA’s control, a replacement teacher will be found in case of absence.
  12. Alingua provides an orderly learning environment. Students will be held liable for any damages caused.
  13. Alingua reserves the right to increase prices.
